South Plainfield, NJ - Ronald M. DeCibus, 74, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at home with his family by his side.
Born in Perth Amboy on September 30, 1935, Ronald was a longtime resident of Woodbridge.
Ronald was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1964. He was the founder of Woodbridge Moving Company and he enjoyed the time spent on his farm in Upstate New York but more importantly Mr. DeCibus cherished his grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents Louis and Helen DeCibus. A beloved husband, father and pop-pop, Ronald is survived by his loving wife Joanne, his children Louis and Nicholas DeCibus, Danielle Gallop, Anthony and Lisa Tomacheck and his grandchildren; Brook, Aubrey and Morgan Gallop and Alina and Louis DeCibus, Jr. He also leaves behind his sister Carole Coleman of Port Monmouth, brother Roger of Sewaren, his son-in-law Ken Gallop and daughters-in-law Elaine and Lynn and by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
