Salvina "Sally" DelNegro
South Plainfield- Salvina "Sally" R. DelNegro passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at St. Peter's Medical Center in New Brunswick.
Born in South Plainfield, Sally was a lifelong resident of the boro. She owned and operated My Lady's Beauty Shop in North Plainfield for over 40 years, before retiring in 1998 when she sold the business.
Sally was a loving sister, a very beloved aunt and dear friend to many. In addition, she is a lifelong communicant of Sacred Heart Church in South Plainfield.
She is predeceased by her brothers; Peter, Larry, Joseph, and Sonny DelNegro and her sisters, Louise Jeavettorea and Connie Pisaniello.
Surviving are many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will begin on Monday, June 14, 2010 at 9:30 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, followed by a 10:00 AM Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart RC Church.
Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Family & Friends may gather for visitation on Monday morning beginning at 8:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33 Street, Third Floor, New York, NY 10016.
