Paul P. MicaliStroudsburg, Pennsylvania - Paul P. Micali, 95, died on Monday, November 3, 2008 at home. Born in Galton, Pennsylvania, Mr. Micali had resided in Middlesex and South Plainfield for many years before moving to Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, five years ago. Mr. Micali had been employed as a Welder for the former Woods Machine Company in Plainfield for 37 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Lodge # 167 of Plainfield. Paul was a honorary member of the South Plainfield Rescue Squad, a member of the Senior Citizens and the B P O Elks lodge # 2298, both of South Plainfield. In addition, Mr. Micali was a life member of the Faternal Order of the Eagles in Plainfield Aerle # 866 and he was also a member of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield. He is pre-deceased by wife Theresa "Tessie" Micali, his daughter Roberta Micali and by his brother James. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law: Edward and Linda Micali of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 10:30 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia. Relatives and friends will be gathering on Wednesday beginning at 9:30 AM in the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the South Plainfield Rescue Squad, 2520 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, New Jersey 07080.
