Obituary of Ruth E. Kraus

Ruth E. Kraus Whiting - Ruth E. (Kmosko) Kraus, 86, died on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at the Community Medical Center in Toms River Born in Plainfield, Ruth was a lifelong resident of South Plainfield Mrs. Kraus is a former member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church in North Plainfield and in her younger years, Ruth worked various jobs but was primarily a homemaker caring for her family. She is pre-deceased by her husband Louis her daughter Judith Kraus, her sister Dorothy Sooy and by her brother William Kmosko Surviving are 3 daughters; Linda Kraus of Whiting, Kathleen McLaughlin and her husband Michael of South Plainfield and Carolyn Brown and her husband Charles also of Whiting, her son Alan Kraus and his wife Kim of Millsboro, DE, her sister Florence Ross and her husband Jack of Bridgewater and her brother James Kmosko and his wife Gertrude of Sputh Plainfield. Also surviving are her 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Iselin. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 28, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
