Louise N. Micchelli Toms River, NJ - Louise N. (Macary) Micchelli, 98, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at McCarrick Care Center in Somerset. Born in Bronx, NY, she moved to Newark in 1935. She lived in East Orange, Springfield and most recently Toms River before moving to the care center six months ago. Louise spent her time caring for her family as a homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards, doing crossword puzzles and was a member of the Holiday City Woman's Club in Toms River. She is predeceased by her husband Anthony who passed away July 25, 1988 and by her four siblings; Gilda, Irma, Margaret, and Louis. Louise leaves behind her loving daughter and son-in-law Virginia and Frank Gruenling, her two dear grandchildren Susan and Dennis, her devoted sister Catherine Lang and by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2009 beginning 9:15 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:00 AM funeral liturgy at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church in Piscataway. Louise will be laid to rest with her husband in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery located in East Hanover. Relatives and friends may attend the visitation in the funeral home on Friday, November 6, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Rosary Hill Home, a cancer nursing facility, located at 600 Linda Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
