Stanely Fila
Voorhees - Stanley Fila, 81, died on Thursday, November 11, 2010 in the Vitas Hospice at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Stratford.
Born in Perth Amboy, Mr. Fila resided in North Plainfield since 1965 and recently moved to Voorhees.
He worked as a Supervisor for Hygiene Diaper Service in Plainfield.
Stanley served in the Merchant Marines and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Fila enjoyed bowling, puzzles and sports.
He is predeceased by his son Gary.
Surviving are his wife Joanne and his son Steven both of Voorhees, his sister inlaw Fran Courtney of Florida and his grandson Bryan Fila of Virginia.
Relatives and friends will be gathering for visitation on Monday, November 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield.
Graveside Services will follow at 1:00 PM at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
