Obituary of Dolores D. Wachauf

Dolores D. Wachauf South Plainfield, NJ - Dolores D. (Hornig) Wachauf, 76, died on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Newark, NJ, she has been a resident of South Plainfield since 1959. After highschool, Dolores worked for Prudential Life Insurance as a clerk and from 1980-1990, she worked in the cafeteria of the Plainfield School District. Dolores spent most of her time caring for her family as a homemaker. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Dolores leaves behind her husband Raymond E., her children; Cathy Ann Wachauf of East Brunswick and Raymond A. and his wife Laura Wachauf of South Plainfield. She will be missed dearly by her granddaughters Christina Marie Slatky and Caitlin D. Wachauf. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 beginning 9:15 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Sunday, December 5, 2010 and Monday, December 6, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Tuesday from 8:45 AM until the service time.
