Anna Juva
South Plainfield - Anna (Soell) Juva, 75, died on Friday, April 3, 2009 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway.
Born and raised in Raritan, Anna lived in Plainfield before settling in South Plainfield in 1961.
She worked as a waitress for 30 years for several diners and restaurants throughout South Plainfield and Plainfield.
An avid browser, Mrs. Juva enjoyed her Sunday drives with her husband of 51 years Stanley, as well as playing bingo and traveling to Atlantic City.
She is pre-deceased by her parents Walter and Mildred Soell, her son, Mark who died on April 1, 2009, her grandson, Daniel Juva and by 3 sisters; Bobby Soell, Edna Lynn and Marjorie Campion.
In addition to her husband Stanley, surviving are her daughter, Kathleen Juva of South Plainfield, her son, Stanley Juva and his wife Mindy of Somerset, her granddaughter, Heather Juva and her grandson, Gary Ferguson. Two sisters; Mildred Gallo and her husband Pat of Scotch Plains and Carol Ferrara and her husband Lou of Homdel. Her sister in law, Vicki Evans and her husband Tom of South Plainfield and by her brother in law, John Juva and his wife Mary of Edison.
Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin on Tuesday April 7, 2009 in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church, South Plainfield.
Cremation services will follow privately.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
