Clementina "Tina" Moretti Clementina J. "Tina" (Scala) Moretti passed away on Wednesday morning, January 26, 2011, at the Arbor Glen Continuing Care Community in Bridgewater. Born and raised in Westfield, NJ, Tina settled to South Plainfield with her husband in the early 1950's. She had been employed as a secretary for Merck and Company and then for an adoption agency in Plainfield. Tina had been an active member of the South Plainfield Suburban Women's Club as well as enjoyed spending time doing ceramics, knitting and was an excellent seamstress. Her husband, Eugene died in 1984. She is also predeceased by her brother, Michael. Surviving are three children, Denise Moretti and her husband, Jack Howarth, Guy Moretti and his wife Toni and Arthur Moretti and his wife, Yvonne. A sister, Matilda "Tillie" Fiorino and two brothers, Eugene and Vincent Scala. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Nicole, Eugene, Anthony, Erin and Kyle and a great grandson, Blake. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 31, 2011 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass in Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Family and friends may attend the visitation hours on Sunday, Janaury 30, 2011 from 2-5 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donation in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2600 US Highway #1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.
