George A. Wright Piscataway - George A. Wright, 74, died on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Rahway. Born in Plainfield, NJ, he is the son of the late George H. & Madeline Cihanowyz. George had resided in Rhode Island for a short time and then Dunellen for a number of years before settling to Piscataway 43 years ago. He served in the United States Army from 1949 to 1953 as a private first class. For many years George worked in the T.V. sales and repair business. He had been employed by Triboro T.V. & Appliance in Middlesex for numerous years, retiring 14 years ago. He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren grow and watching them participating in sports. Being a sports enthusiast himself, George was an avid follower of the Piscataway Chiefs, the Scarlet Knights and the NY Giants. Predeceased by his parents and his sister, Dorothy Allegar, he is survived by his wife of 49 years, Catherine (Anthenelli). His daughter, Lucy Altomonte and her husband, Salvatore. His two sons, Mike & his wife Pam of Wall Township and Matthew and his wife Lauren of Brick. His brother, Jack of Mississippi and his adored 11 grandchildren, Alysa, Sal, Amanda, Allison, Maria, Nicholle, Michael, Emily, Erin, Madyson & Aidan. Funeral services will begin on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Piscataway. Interment will take place in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home ">
