Obituary of Viola Maiorino

Viola Maiorino South Plainfield - Viola (Fortino) Maiorino, 88, died on Friday, August 14, 2009 at home. A longtime member of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield, Viola was born and raised in Newark and lived in Union prior to settling in South Plainfield in 1950. She is pre-deceased by her husband James and by her 7 brothers. Surviving are her children; Rachel Felz and her husband John, Michael Maiorino and his wife Patilynn and James Maiorino and his wife Diane all of South Plainfield, her sister Mary Vicidomini of Mantoloking, her grandchildren; John, Michael and Jessica Felz, Amiee and Alyssa Maiorino, and Toni-Lynn, Samantha - Lynn and Michael Christopher Maiorino. Also surviving are her great grandchildren; Ava and Kayla. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 12:30 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 from 4-8 PM in the funeral home.
