Paul Po Kee Chin
Paul Po Kee Chin, restaurant entrepreneur, 73, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2009.
Born in Canton, China; educated & lived in Hong Kong before coming to the US in 1963. Mr. Chin lived in Plainfield & North Plainfield before moving to South Plainfield 31 years ago.
He was the owner of How Ming Chinese Restaurant in South Plainfield & Tai Ming Chinese Restaurant in Piscataway before retiring in 1998.
His love of family, caring and devoted presence will be missed by his beloved wife of 42 years, Barbara; his loving children, Kenneth, Rose, Bessie Piro & her husband David of Warren; his cherished grandchildren Matthew & Justine; his brothers, Samuel & his wife Mary of Chatham, Thomas, Daniel & his wife Elaine of South Plainfield, and his sister Lillian Chu & her husband Clemens of New York City; along with his nephews, Jonathan & his wife Mary, Michael, James, Joshua, and his niece Nicole, all of whom will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be at McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on Friday, July 17, 2009 5-7 PM and Saturday, July 18, 2009 9-10 AM.
Burial Ceremony will take place following visitation on Saturday at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
