Obituary of Marie Importico Green

Marie Green South Plainfield - Marie Importico Green, 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 23, 2011 in the Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born and raised in Plainfield, Marie resided in South Plainfield for nearly 55 years. Marie retired from the Middlesex A&P and she enjoyed playing bingo. Mrs. Green was an avid reader and could often be found at the South Plainfield Public Library. In addition she loved and took pride in her family. She is predeceased by her 1st husband Nicholas J. Importico and by her 2nd husband Frederick W. Green. Surviving are her 2 daughters; Cindy Kelly and her husband Bob of Florida and Pat Guarraci and her husband Joe of South Plainfield, 4 grandchildren; Andrea Yuill, Susan Christman, Todd Kelly and Nicholas Guarraci and her 4 great grandchildren; Amanda and Sofia Yuill and Noah and Lana Christman. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 10:30 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
