Edison, NJ - Susan Carol Nicastro, 56, surrounded by her loving family, passed away at CareOne at the Highlands Care Center in Edison on March 14, 2018. Born in Plainfield to Joseph and Carol (Fish) Nicastro, Susan lived in Watchung but spent a majority of her life in Monmouth Junction.
She worked for Trap Rock Industries in Kingston as an Accounts Payable Clerk. She loved to travel to the Pocono's with her late longtime companion Robert Lawrence, who passed away in 2012.
Susan leaves behind her loving daughter Stephanie Puzzo and her husband Samuel of Jamesburg, her cherished granddaughter Ava Rose Puzzo, two dear brothers; Joseph Nicastro and his wife Helene of South Plainfield and Steven Nicastro of Middlesex along with her niece and nephew; Amy Jo Nicastro and Joseph Nicastro, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. At the request of the family, cremation will take place privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations sent to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (www.nationalmssociety.org) would be appreciated.
