Obituary of Michael Sabino

Michael Sabino South Plainfield - Michael Sabino, 45, lost his long and courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Plainfield, Michael was raised in South Plainfield before moving to Avenel four years ago. He currently was employed by Nischwitz & Co. in South Plainfield where he worked in Oil Service. A member of the B.P.O. Elks #2298, he enjoyed music, attending concert and had a love for football, especially the New York Giants. Michael loved his cat Tigger. He is predeceased by his sister Debbie Sabino who died in 1990. Michael is survived by his parents Arthur R. Sr. and Margaret Sabino, his brother Arthur Jr. and his wife Lydia Sabino all of South Plainfield and by his companion of twenty-three years Diane Deschaine. He also leaves behind his niece and nephew Shawn and Sarah Sabino and by many aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2009 beginning 10:00 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by burial in Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Friday, December 18, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
