Piscataway, NJ - Kathryn Krupowies Pula, 59, entered into eternal rest at her home with her loving family at her side on Monday, September 14, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Elizabeth to her late parents Stanley and Lorraine (Verrier) Krupowies, Kathy grew up in Clark and had lived in Avenel and Rahway before settling to Piscataway in 1984. She graduated from Rutgers with a Master's Degree in Animal Science. Kathy began her career with the Clark Animal Hospital where she met her husband Rick and married September 9, 1978, just celebrating thirty-seven years of marriage. Kathy completed 34 years of service as a Senior Scientist with Schering Plough / Merck located in Kenilworth. She enjoyed cruises, arts and crafts and puzzles, attending concerts and was an avid reader. Kathy's biggest passion in life was the love for her family. Kathy is survived by her loving and devoted husband Rick, cherished sons Dan of Piscataway and Tim and his wife Tiffany of Ashburn, VA and two adored grandchildren; Brayden and Corlin Pula. Kathy will be deeply missed by her dear siblings; Christine Henderson and Stan and Kenneth Krupowies. A gathering honoring Kathy's life will be held 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
