Obituary of Thomas C. Doyon

South Plainfield - Thomas Cooper Doyon, 32, died on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at his home after a loss to his long and hard fought battle against addiction. Born in Plainfield, Tommy was a lifelong resident of the borough of South Plainfield A graduate of South Plainfield High School Class of 2001, he was active in many of the school programs including the marching band, chorus and wrestling. He continued his education at Rowan University and graduated with dual degrees from Full Sail University in Winter Park Florida. He had a passion for music and earned his bachelor's degrees in Music Business and Sound Recording. Tommy was proud to work alongside his father at the family business, Cooper's Office Furniture and loved his hometown of South Plainfield.. He was loved by many, had a compassionate soul and left a lasting impression on those that knew him. Additionally, Tommy was a proud member of the Market Street Mission in Morristown NJ. Surviving are his devoted parents, Tom and Sandy (nee Cooper) and many aunts, uncles, cousin extended family and friends. All are invited to join together for visitation on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 1-4 & 6-9 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ., 07080. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in Sacred Heart RC Church, 149 South Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ., at 10 AM. Family and friends may join together at the funeral home prior to mass beginning at 9 AM. Interment will follow mass in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
