Josephine L.Clift South Plainfield- Josephine L. Clift, 78, died on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Genesis Eldercare - The Woodlands in Plainfield, NJ Born in Jersey City, she resided in West New York, NJ, Union City & Bloomfield before moving to South Plainfield in 1979. Mrs. Clift had been employed as an Administrative Assistant for several companies throughout her lifetime including AT&T in New York City. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in South Plainfield, where she was also a member of the church choir. She is predeceased by her husband, William, who died in October 2005, her sister, Matilda Di Rito, her brother- in- law, John Di Rito, and her niece, Linda Di Rito. Surviving are her daughter, Anne Marie Colletti, and her husband, Christopher of Denville, a grandson, Sean Colletti, and a nephew, Thomas Di Rito, and his family. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012 10:30 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 AM in Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. Relatives & Friends may attend the visitation hours on Thursday from 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Northern NJ Chapter, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
