Linda was my colleague at High School North during my years there, 2001-2005. I admired her for unfailing enthusiasm, fine sense of humor, boundless energy, and utter devotion to her students. I am shocked and saddened at her sudden passing. It was a privilege to work with her. I extend my prayers and sympathy to her dear mother, about whom she spoke often, and all the members of her family.

Steve and I were so saddened to hear of "Rangers" passing. Linda was such a vibrant personality I can hardly imagine her not being here. Linda and I attended Trenton State together and she was the most creative and inspiring person to work with during our time together. We did not stay in contact in later years, but I always held a place in my heart for her. She was a dear person and I want her close family and friends to know they have my sympathy and I share their sorrow.

Teacher, leader, friend, family. I have been blessed to spend many years knowing you as all these things. I got to spend four of my more formative years with you in MHSN, as literature teacher and home room teacher. You stood on the desk to get the emotion of Shakespeare through to us. I was lucky enough to spend personal time with you on many occasions as you and my mother were closest of friends. I am so happy that you were able to meet my son as well, though very sad he will not be able to grow up knowing you as I did. Every student and every person you touched is blessed from knowing you. We all will miss you.

It was Veterans' Day in 1991. Ken Konci, Helen Mudrak and I, John Sotak were sitting in a hot tub in Las Vegas with Linda Ranger. As we were toasting each other with champagne, we realized all of us had very ethnic names...with one exception. Linda Ranger, the lady with the very unethnic name. That had to change. We decided to go Italian and The Rangeroni was born. And so, for 22 years, Linda Ranger, to us, had been The Rangeroni. How we will miss calling her name.

I offer my deepest condolences to all of Ms. Rangers family and friends. I have many wonderful memories of her when working on "Once Upon a Mattress" at North. I will never forget her Chutzpah. That is the word that comes to mind when I think of her. RIP Ms. Ranger!

Yo Rangeroni, This is the last time I will use that greeting and it just tears me up inside. You were my Mad Men lady. I am going to miss our weekly email discussion of the adventures of Don Draper and company on Mad Men. You were a true fan and really got into that show. We had such fun. I will miss your spunk, your spirit, your enthusiasm. I will miss our annual visit to NYC to see a show and the discussions that followed, usually at dinner at your home with Mama R. I will miss the fact that the biggest fan of my writing will no longer be here to praise my work. Your sure knew how to boost my ego. But most of all, Rangeroni, I will miss you so much. With much love, John Boy

Extending my heartfelt sympathy to the Ranger family. Having graduated with Linda, she will always be remembered by her constant smile and her laugh as vibrant as her hair. She has molded and mentored more than we could count, and her love of the stage has been passed on to thousands. There is definitely going to be a major production in heaven...may she rest in peace...

My sincerest condolences. I was privileged to be part of the production of Guys and Dolls back in her early career at SPHS. We could all relate to a fun and with it teacher, she was loved by everyone. Very sad news.

My condolences to all of Ms. Ranger's family. She directed me at High School North in "Anything Goes" and "Once Upon a Mattress" and made theater such fun to be involved in. Her passion for drama was apparent and she succeeded in putting together wonderful plays. I'll always remember her and all she taught me.

I have always appreciated the way Linda helped my child Claire enter the world of high school. Linda spotted Claire at the auditions for the fall play, full of eager energy, and gave my anxious freshman a part that made all the difference to her. Linda was warm-hearted, enthusiastic, and funny. I know she was a great teacher because I know what she did for my daughter. I am so sorry to hear that she is gone.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Linda's beautiful family and words cannot express the sadness I hold within my heart. She was not only my teacher for four years but our friendship extended far beyond graduation and she became like a big sister to me. You will never be forgotten my dear friend. May you rest in peace.

"A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.” ― Henry Adams You will never be forgotten, Miss Ranger. My sincere condolences to your friends and family that will need to somehow fill the void you leave behind. May it be filled with good times and great memories, and with knowing how many lives you have touched and made better because of it.

What a great loss to all of us. Linda was such a force of nature, full of life. One of my fondest childhood memories was a neighborhood talent show in Linda's backyard, with a real audience! I was 5, Linda was 8, many in the neighborhood participated. Then, at the 8th grade talent show, Linda was cool personified when she performed as a go go dancer with a rock and roll band...she wore a miniskirt and these white ball earrings that were the height of late 60s fashion. Linda was hip and edgy and fun, and her light was extinguished far too soon. My heartfelt sympathies to Mrs. Ranger, Janet, Ronnie and his wife and daughters.

I was in that talent show! (Linda Stanley here.). I just learned of Linda's death.. Linda, Joanne Oehler and I had some wild adventures. I will always remember climbing trees, the park, "mischeif night," the chicken coop and "Room 5." Once, we were in Linda's stairwell gasping as we had run from the police after hanging out in Room 5 (doing nothing crininal). Mr. Ranger heard it all and said to us with a smile, "it's not a crime if you don't get caught, huh?" Sorry to hear she is gone.

My heartfelt condolences to the Ranger family. All of you were such a big part of my life. I had the pleasure of being in school and classes with Linda and I was proud to call her "cousin". Frank Capra once said, "I made some mistakes in drama. I thought the drama was when actors cried. But drama is when the audience cries." Linda, your audience is crying now. Love you, BL

Linda "Rangeroni" was a very special friend. We go back more than forty years. There were so many things we shared both happy and sad. I will miss our trips into NYC and dinner with "Mama Rangeroni" afterwards, and the many text messages we exchanged. The fun we had whenever we go together, whether it was here in LV or back in NJ. My heart goes out to "Mama", her brother Ronald & his wife Diane, her sister Janet, and her nieces Jessica, Danielle, and Deanna who Linda adored and always talked about. I am going to miss her dearly!! Love, Mr. Ken
