Obituary of Robert J. Makoski

Robert J. Makoski South Plainfield - Robert J. Makoski, 59, died Tuesday July 24, 2012 at the Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Robert resided in South Plainfield with his wife and two daughters. Being a family man, he looked forward to taking "stay-cations" with them and his two dogs whom he adored; Mozart and Madison. Robert also enjoyed photography and music. He was devoted to his job at Fedway Associates and gave them 29 years of dedicated service. He is predeceased by his parents; John and Mary (nee Parillo) Makoski and his brother-in-law Rob Strauch. Surviving is his loving wife Terry, two daughters; Ariana and Alisha, mother and father in law; Mr. & Mrs. Gerald Hauptly of Fanwood, sisters and brother in law; Mr. & Mrs. Henry Williams of Cape May and Taffy Strauch of West Palm Beach and by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 11-2PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080. With a funeral service beginning at 1:30PM in the funeral home. Cremation will follow privately.
