Obituary of Kaider R. Mohan

Kaider Ram Mohan "Babu", 73 passed away suddenly, but peacefully on Monday morning, February 17, 2014 at JFK hospital in Edison, NJ. Born in Guyanan Kaider came to the United States in 1978 and settled in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY where they resided for many years. Kaider was one of 8 children born to the late Tomacal Mohan and Lakhee Somar, he became a husband and devoted father of 7 children and 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Surviving are his wife of 55 years; Teeria Mohan and 7 children; Monica and her family, Sono and his family, Rajin and his family, Tota and his family, Kishore and his family, Sham and his family, and Sharmila and her family. Thirteen beloved grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 8:30 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Cremation will follow in Rosehill Crematory, Linden Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 7-9 PM and on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 6-9 PM.
