Dianne J. Colburn
South Plainfield - Dianne J. Colburn, 66, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Hospice of NJ in St. Joseph's Hospital in Wayne NJ.
Born in Newark, to the late Howard and Ellen, she has been a resident of South Plainfield for the past 20 years.
Dianne was an employee of Verizon for over 40 years in Newark NJ and had recently retired.
She enjoyed a love and desire for education and continued her higher learning throughout her life. Dianne was continually enrolled in various programs at various institutions her whole life until her passing.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, George.
Surviving are several beloved and dear friends.
Friends are invited to attend the visitation hours on Thursday, October, 25, 2012 from 4-7:30 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080. A funeral service will begin on Thursday at 7:30 PM.
Burial will take place on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 10:30 AM in Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth.
