Middlesex, NJ - Carmela (Camuso) Renick, 81, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater. Born in Newark, NJ to her late parents Romauldo and Julia (Capetta) Camuso, she grew up in Irvington and lived in Warren and Bound Brook before settling to Middlesex in 1995.
Carmela enjoyed her time with the family as a homemaker. A devout catholic, she was a member of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex and was the organizer for many of the Irvington class reunions.
She leaves behind her daughter Dawn Skellington and her husband Randy of Middlesex, three cherished grandchildren; Danielle, Brian and Kevin Lewis and four dear siblings; Anthony Camuso of Basking Ridge, Gilda Shoenberger of Middlesex, Victor Camuso of Union and Louis Camuso of Jackson.
Visitation will take place in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm and on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 8:15 am until 8:45 am.
Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Monday, February 22, 2016 at 8:45 am followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
