Obituary of James B. Conlon

James Conlon, 55, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 14, 2015 in Paterson. Born in Elizabeth, Jim grew up in Piscataway and graduated from Piscataway High School in 1978. He furthered his education graduating from the State University of New York Polytechnic Institute in Marcy, NY with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. A member of the Carpenter's Local #155 in Elizabeth, Jim worked as a superintendent for H.C.M, LLC in Passaic. He enjoyed helping others, was outgoing and will be remembered as a kind and generous man. He is predeceased by his father James B. who died in 2004 and nephew Nicholas Joseph who died an infant in 1982. Surviving are his two children, James and Maura Lynn of Marcy, NY, and their mom Maureen, his mother Gail Ann (nee: Grau) (Tom Rock), sisters, Kathleen Arancio (Joe) Suzanne Williams (Brad) and Patricia Breitenbach (John) all of No. Carolina, Nancy Ann Belford (Steve) of Edison and Claire Conlon (Rusty Owens) of New Mexico and his brother John (Peggy) of PA. Also surviving are his godson Ryan Belford and 22 additional nieces/nephews 4 great nieces/nephews and extended family and friends. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, May 18, 2015 from 7-9PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080
