Patricia Marie Carella Toms River- Patricia Marie Carella met her Lord surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Born in Irvington, NJ to Richard and Mildred Price, she moved to South Plainfield and devoted herself to the role of wife and mother upon marrying her knight in shining armor Henry. A born-again Christian, Pat realized her second defining purpose when she became a soldier for the Lord, courageously ministering in His name, to the poor and sick in such places as Haiti, Newark and the streets and parks of New York City. Loved and admired by all who knew her, she is predeceased by her husband of 47 years; Henry and her son Jeffrey. Surviving are her children; Wayne and Linda Carella of Chester, Robin and Peter Hoenge of Point Pleasant, Pamela & Michael Poole of Lavallette and Susan Carella and Donna Wagner of Bridgewater, her brother Richard Price and her sister Dianne Jones. She is also survived by her dear grandchildren, Christopher, Alissa, Daniel, Matthew, Michael and Brandon and great-grandchildren; Jaden, Taylor and Max.
