Obituary of Pasquina R. Infante

South Plainfield - Pasquina "Lina" (Valluzzi) Infante, 60, passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at JFK Haven Hospice in Edison, NJ. Born in Castelmezzano Italy, Lina came to the United States in 1972 and resided in Plainfield, NJ prior to settling in South Plainfield in 1978. Lina was employed as a teacher's aid with Pilgrim Covenant in South Plainfield and then with KinderCare in Branchburg. She loved children and took great pride in teaching and caring for them. She was a devoted wife and mother and would do anything for her family and friends. She is predeceased by her mother Vincenza Valluzzi. Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Vincenzo; daughter, Jennifer Stoeckel and her husband David all of South Plainfield; son, Anthony and his wife Shari of Saxonsburg, PA; father, Giuseppe Valluzzi; sister, Maria Benedetto, brother Antonio Valluzzi and his wife Doriana, all of Italy; and brother, Rocco Valluzzi and his wife Carmela of South Plainfield as well as six grandchildren, Elliott, Parker, Chloe, Logan, Vincent and Annabelle. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and extended loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 9:00AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 in Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 4-8PM.
