Obituary of Frank J. Marinaro

Green Brook - Dr. Frank J. Marinaro, 78, died on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 in the comfort of his home. Born in Jersey City, Frank resided in North Plainfield and Green Brook for the majority of his life. In 1972 Frank started his chiropractic practice, Marinaro Chiropractic Center in Green Brook. Considered a pioneer in the industry by his colleagues, Frank owned and operated his business until his retirement in 1999. An avid golfer, Dr. Marinaro enjoyed gardening and took particular interest in caring for his lawn. He was also fond of animals, followed the NY Yankees and on July 30, 2015 he and his wife Carol celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Predeceased by a grandson Gregory, Dr. Marinaro is survived by his loving wife Carol (Pizza); three sons, Joseph and his wife Susan of CA., Michael and his wife Paula of Green Brook, and Frank Jr. and his wife Rosanne of Upper Twp; two sisters, Ann Marie Hardgrove and her husband John of Green Brook and Joann Scherer and her husband Ken of NY and three grandchildren, Anthony, Katelyn and Anthony. Also surviving are five great grandchildren, Makayla, Gianna, Ray, Carmine and Gregory and his loyal dog Rocky. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 9:15AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield, NJ. Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 4-8pm in the funeral home.
