Obituary of Carolyn Hunterton

South Plainfield - Carolyn Hunterton, 70, died on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Hazard, KY, Carolyn had resided in Ohio before settling to South Plainfield where she has resided for most of her life. Carolyn had been employed as the Manager at Sherban's Restaurant Diner in South Plainfield for many years. She is predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Diane Hunterton Surviving are her three children, Dawn Paradiso and her husband, Angelo, David and his wife, Valerie, and Thomas all of South Plainfield. Her father, James Thornton and her devoted and dear friend Frank Approvato who was very loyal and caring. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren; Scott, Amanda, Sarah, Samantha, Cody and Olivia. Family and friends may attend the visitation hours on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 10 - 12 noon in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ., 07080 A funeral service will begin at noon. In lieu of flowers, a donations in her memory may be made to a charity of choice or please omit flowers.
