Obituary of Michael P. Santasieri

Fords - Michael P. Santasieri, 68, passed away New Year's Eve at CareOne at the Highlands in Edison. Born to the late Anthony and Theresa (Monteleone), he was resided in Jersey City until 1977 when he settled to Fords. An honorable discharged Veteran of the United States Navy, Michael worked for Best Foods and Direct Scripts before retiring with the Woodbridge BOE as a bus driver. An avid collector of baseball cards he enjoyed bowling, fishing and playing poker in Atlantic City. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Agnes (Calamito) and son, Anthony his wife, Erin of Edison. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Michael, Bella, Lita and Tressa and one expected in February. Family and friends may attend visitation on Monday, January 5, 2015 from 4-7PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by a funeral service beginning at 7PM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
