Obituary of Mary E. Petraglia

Bridgewater - Mary (Sabino) Petraglia, 67, died on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown. Born and raised in Plainfield, Mary resided in South Plainfield and North Plainfield for many years prior to relocating to Bridgewater in 1998. Mrs. Petraglia worked as the Court Administrator for the Borough of North Plainfield retiring in 2011 after 26 years of employment. After a short time of retirement, Mary went back to work on a part time basis working as the Administrative Assistant to the Green Brook Chief of Police. Mrs. Petraglia enjoyed cooking for her family, spending time at the Jersey Shore, particularly Ortley Beach and taking trips into Manhattan where she often attended Broadway Shows as well as the popular San Gennaro Feast. In addition to working and her hobbies, Mary' true joy in life was her grandson Geoffery. Predeceased by a brother Geroge T. Sabino, surviving is her loving husband of 47 years, Philip; two daughters, Jill Marie Filippone of Upper Black Eddy, Pa and Natalie Interdonato of Flanders; sister Joanne Levine and her husband Rich of Toms River and her dear grandson Geoffery Gandolfe. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 8:45AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10AM funeral mass at St. Joseph's RC Church, North Plainfield, NJ. Cremation Services will follow privately. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 5-9pm in the funeral home.
