I am heartbroken to just find out that Mr. Larsen recently passed. Although I am 40 years his junior, he treated me like I was his best friend. My heart is heavy with sadness that I won’t see him in church anymore, which I always looked forward to talking to him and shaking his hand. He and his wife Elsie were two of the nicest, kindest people that I have ever met. Always a kind word and a kiss on the cheek from Elsie. It was something special to see how they lit up when talking about their beloved grandson Michael. To the Larsen family, my sincerest condolences on the loss of a fine man. OLC won’t be the same without him. I hope you’re looking down upon us dancing with Elsie. Thank you for your service to our country Sir! God Bless you Mr. Larsen.
