Mary J. Valle, 88, passed away January 11, 2014 at the Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Bernardsville, she was raised in Plainfield before moving to Piscataway over 50 years ago. Mrs. Valle was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church and graciously received a weekly visit for prayer from the church once she took ill.Mary was predeceased by her parents, Ferdinand and Angelina, by her first husband Nicholas Schiavone and then by her second husband Stefano Valle. Surviving are her children, Michael Schiavone of Florida, Peter Valle of Piscataway, Ferdinand Valle of Piscataway, Stephen Valle Jr. of Asbury, Joanne Voorhees of Hillsborough, and Ann Marie Hewitt of Flemington; her sister Stella Sheedy of South Plainfield, fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
