To Nick and his entire family: I am saddened by the news of Paul's passing. His gentle smile and disarming personality will be greatly missed by those of us at PCC who were blessed to walk the rolling hills of our golf course with him. Todd and I wish to extend our deepest condolences to Paul's family for your loss. Paul was such a nice person and always good company. Among other occasions, we had the pleasure of seeing Paul most years during the Christmas holidays at gatherings hosted by the Flemmings. We particularly enjoyed his stories about his trips to Nantucket and his adventures with the "Silver Dragons". He will be truly missed. Todd and Maureen "Mo" Heck

Carrie, Nicholas, Allison, & the rest of the Tuyp family, My deepest condolences for your loss. I know you all brought so much joy to his heart and visa versa. Paulie was my Dutch Brother and I will miss him and his kindness, genuineness, selflessness, generosity, fabled story-telling, annual literary piece her called a Christmas card, and most importantly, his friendship terribly. He touched so many lives positively, as exemplified by the many people who call him their friend. There are way too many stories and fond memories to list here that exemplify just the type good man, friend, father, etc. Paulie was, but I'm sure you have heard many through this difficult time and before. Knowing him for the 30+ years since first meeting him at the University of Scranton had bettered my life and I'm looking forward to the next time him and I can share a good laugh and story over an Amstel. God bless him and your family. Should you need anything, I'm a phone call away. Love, Mike Gullo

There are too many great stories for me to simply choose 1. Paul will forever be 1 of the greatest people I met when I started my journey 13 years ago at work. He was so much more than a co-worker he was my friend. Paul gave so much of himself to his job and i found that i always had someone to call at the late hours in the office because i knew like me he would be working. No matter what the reason was for my visiting the Secaucus offices from NY, it was always on my agenda to stop by his office. Even if he was on the phone or meeting with someone, I would wait and wait at his door until we could sit down and talk about anything and everything. We laughed a lot, stressed a lot and shared a lot. He LOVED his family more than anything in the world. He spoke of his kids with me as i was starting my own family. He lit up whenever he shared a story about his children. I watched them grow up via the pictures on his wall. He was such a proud father and husband. I still hear his voice and his contagious laugh. I see his big bright smile. Paul's presence was undeniable. He cared, he helped, he mentored. He was an incredible human being and will be missed tremendously by so many. Paul will forever have a special place in my heart.

My fondest memory of Paul was walking a few holes with him at the 4th Round of the 2015 Barclays Tournament. Along our walk, it seemed that EVERYONE we encountered at the course that day knew Paul and some even had a few interesting stories to share about his college days, I won't elaborate, haha...He had a smile on his face from ear to ear the whole time. It was good to see Paul in that environment, outside of the office, among lots of friends and family enjoying the beautiful day at a place he had known for such a long time.

To all the Tuyp family ... My prayers are with all of the Tuyp family at this time. I had the pleasure of caddying with Paul for many years at Plainfield CC. He was just so special in how he served and did his best to always help the members at the club enjoy their many rounds of golf. I know one good thing ... Paul is now with the Lord. And he is sharing that great smile of his with Him now and forever. I'm going to miss you, Paul! .

We are out of town when hearing of Paul's passing. Paul is one of the finest young men I've known having interfaced many times with him at PCC. Truly a sad moment for his family of friends at Plainfield. Our hearts go out to his family at this very difficult time. Paul and his family will be remembered in our prayers. God bless them all.

I did not really know Paul on a personal level. We were co-workers for years and then went our separate ways after leaving the office. But at least twice a year, during very important business events that Paul controlled, I was his "I.T. Department" support. These events always included many personal time hours. Weekends and late nights (early mornings!). Paul always got the job done.
What I remember now. though, is not how well he did the job. What I remember is all the times he needed to say that he needed to drop the work for a while. That he needed to coach a soccer game or attend a special birthday party.
I needed to share this with his family.
