Obituary of Paul D. Jones

Paul D. Jones, 80, went to be with the Lord peacefully at home on April 13, 2016 surrounded by his family . Born and raised in Elizabeth, Paul had resided in South Plainfield with his wife, Regina, since 1957, where they raised their family. He was known for being dedicated to his faith, family, and work. Paul was the owner and operator of his trucking company Bulldog Lines in South Plainfield. Prior to owning and operating Bulldog Lines, he owned and operated several other trucking companies over the course of his career. He was an active member of Colonia Chapel in Clark since 1957. Surviving are his loving wife Regina (Hollis); daughters, Dayel Giammarino and her husband Anthony of South Plainfield, Dayna Mundy of Sewaren and Daneca Mergott and her husband Jack of Wisconsin; sons, Daniel and his wife Barbara of North Plainfield, David and his wife Anissa of South Plainfield and Darrec and his wife Maureen of Milltown; brothers, Arthur Richard of Union and Robert Harold and his wife Hazel of Maryland; 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday April 19th, 2016 in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue in South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth. Friends and family may gather for visitation on Monday, April 18th, 2016 from 6-9PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in Paul's memory can be made to Mountainview Bible Camp, 2671 Snydertown Road, Danville, PA. 17821
