Obituary of Susan M. Sutton

South Plainfield - Susan M. Sutton, 51, died Tuesday September 19, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital - Somerset in Somerville. Born in Elizabeth, Susan resided in Clark, graduating from Arthur L. Johnson High School. She continued her studies and graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Labor Relations and Human Resources then went on to work with Bristol Myers Squibb in New Brunswick. Susan settled to South Plainfield 22 years ago where she raised her family. A communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church, she loved spending time with her family and taking vacations to the Outer Banks. Predeceased by her parents, James and Joan Gregory and brother, Michael Gregory; surviving are her husband of 22 years, Jeffrey Sutton and son, Gregory Sutton of South Plainfield; sister in law, Valerie Gregory of Brick and niece and nephew, Savannah and Connor Gregory. Funeral services will begin on Monday September 25, 2017 at 9AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church at 10AM. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Family and friends may attend visitation on Sunday from 3-7PM in the funeral home.
